Herewith we announce that the Volleyball Federation of Latvia is hosting "FIVB Coaches Course Level I Volleyball" on August 6-10.
The Course will take place in Riga Volleyball School, Cieceres street 9, Riga, Latvia, led by the FIVB instructor and experienced coach from Italy Paolo Montagnani.
Montagnani has been the head coach of clubs in the Italian, Polish and Japanese leagues, as well as coached the Italian adult and youth national teams. In the previous season, Montagnani coached the Moroccan National team.
Courses with a volume of 53 academic hours (40 regular hours) will be held in English, and not only Latvian coaches will participate in them. At the end of the course, participants who have listened to the entire course and passed the theoretical and practical exam will receive an FIVB certificate.

The Course topics are diverse. They touch both technical and tactical aspects of volleyball, as well as team management, training load planning, physical training, warm-up exercises and other topics.
The participation fee for the full course is 200 euros, which includes both theoretical and practical training, as well as lunch and coffee breaks.
The course will be held every day from 8.30 to 18.30, including an hour long lunch break and two coffee breaks.
